Previously, a key member of the Global Group Management Board and shareholder of Imagination. I was instrumental in the growth of Imagination into a global network of 14 offices.
As Chief Creative Officer I had broad strategic responsibility across all creative media and the management, profitability and commercial governance of Imagination’s global network.
I have a reputation as a highly creative and innovative thinker, for delivering inspirational and innovative ideas which are insightful, strategic and commercially robust. I have set out the definition and strategic approach to brand experience that Imagination is world famous for. I’m passionate about the innovative power of creativity and how Integrated across all media, it drives business . I have guided and mentored a generation of planners and creatives as well as CEO’s. Many of whom are in key leadership positions across the industry, globally. I also lead from the front and believe in setting the right example. I’m proud of my global teams and hope they would say the same of me.
I have partnered with Joe Pine, Jean-Noel Kapferer and Ty Montague. I have talked for the creative industry at the House of Commons, DTI, and Createch. I have judged Cannes Lions, D&AD, DBA, Campaign and helped guide Ian Priest through the presidency of the IPA.
I have strategically advised BAA, Canon, Laing O’Rourke, Jaguar and Land Rover and Macmillan on their boards, and sat on the Land Rover Design Council advising on Brand Strategy, Product development and communications.

I was overall lead for the concept and development of the award-winning Guinness Storehouse, responsible for all elements of the design and build of the exhibition, retail, entertainment and training areas, plus the marketing, advertising and the launch event. Across agency experience creatively directing and executing many projects from global adverts to corporate identities, from buildings to retail outlets and from events to spectaculars. Involved in a number of major architectural projects, from new towns to museums, theme parks, restaurants and retail outlets, in the UK, Europe and Japan. Most notably principle designer for the headquarters building of the Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club in Hong Kong, the extension and development of Happy Valley Racetrack and the design and delivery of Kowloon park with the late Pop artist Sir Eduardo Paolozzi.
